This week we are featuring Bernie Williams’ 2nd CD - Moving Forward. The former N.Y. Yankees star is equally formidable as a guitarist and he has given us a truly individualistic sound with this one. It’s along the same lines as Acoustic Alchemy, Craig Chaquico, and the Rippingtons’ guitar oriented songs, but not a soundalike by any means. if you love those artists you’ll enjoy this one.

Today’s feature CD is “Bloom” the debut from trumpet player Cindy Bradley. This CD is a true rarity - a full CD without a single weak or throwaway song on it. No covers or vocals either..just solid contemporary instrumental music all the way through. Produced by Michael Broening, who also wrote or co-wrote most of the tracks - guest artists include Marion Meadows, Jay Soto,
Freddie Fox, Dominic Amato. It comes out this Tuesday. We also have an advance track from Paul Taylor’s forthcoming CD “Burnin’” it’s the title track and it is Burnin!

This week’s feature CD is Candy Dulfer’s “Funked Up” - in which she brings the energy, intensity, and pure funk from her live performances (and touring days with Prince) to a studio set. This was originally part of a two CD set - Funked Up and Chilled Out: one CD funky and one chilled out. The US release has 10 funked up and 2 chilled out songs. All gems. Enjoy!
