Most Euge Groove fans know that he was in this wonder woman’s touring band before he started his solo career. She is coming out of “retirement” after 7 years and doing a 26 date tour this fall and Euge will be in the band. There are three Florida Dates,

Needless to say, he is psyched, he said on his website that he didn’t intend to go on the road like that again but this was too good to resist. That’s a lot of energy unleashed on one stage. Euge will still be doing some dates with his band during the gaps in Turner’s touring schedule but there was a scheduling conflict with the Dave Koz and Friends at Sea cruise. Richard Elliot and Rick Braun have been booked in his place but he plans to be at the pier on departure day to say hi and give everyone a great sendoff. He will be doing the cruise in ‘09.

Steve Oliver’s eagerly awaited DVD/CD “One Night Live,” an in-concert recording, is finally available. Although the official release date is June 24 it is currently available for sale on Steve’s Website. There is a preview EPK (electronic press kit) vido on his home page as well as a fascinating demonstration of the sounds he can get from the synth-guitar he designed and plays. This is a wonderful package, with old favorites and two new songs on the video, four new songs on the CD. If you’ve ever seen him live you’ll want to own this you can relive the experience and share it with your friends. If you haven’t seen him live yet you’ll be willing to skip out on work, make a long drive or do whatever it takes to catch him in concert after you see this.
